Where do I start. IF YOU HAVE A HDTV BUY THIS GAME!
Debuting in it's first 1080p release, WipeOut HD brings a white-knuckle, 1-8 person anitgravity fisticuff race to the table. Starting in campaigne mode, you choose your team and ship that will propell you through a array of dizzing effects. You can switch your team/ship at anytime, however for each race that you complete you gain loyalty points. These points will help unlock new skins and ship upgrades.
The games range from Time Trials, to 8 V.S 8 race that includes the use of weapons. Everything from mines, bombs, quake charges to missiles. One challenge that is by far the most visually pleasing is the Zone challege. Strap yourself in and prepare to do the best you can not to hit the floor in a epileptic convulsion. The object is to race around a preset track, your speed ever increasing. As you pass Zone levels, the scenery will errupt into new vibrant colors. Everything from EQ's pulsating on walls to the beat of commissiond DJ's it is truely and experience to see for yourself in the wonderful world of 1080p.
If this is the final build, I couldn't even begin to comprehend what the prior build unleashed. The company had to "tone" it down, because of failing epilepsy tests. For $19.99 USD, available for download on the PSN, I really see no reason as to why you wouldn't pick this game up. If you own an HDTV and you don't, you may as well be smashing the screen with your head.
